About Me

I’m Nashema Hatten, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the Cypress/ W. Houston area.  I am a daughter, wife, and mother of three children, one of which has Autism.  As a mother of a special needs child, I am very passionate about children's mental health and wellness as well as advocacy.

I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, and crafting.  I will leap at any excuse to go to the beach.    I can to be nostalgic and can appreciate an old school board game, such as Scrabble or Yahtzee.

I entered the social services realm in 2002 when I worked with homeless.  My early experiences with this population led me to pursue counseling as I found many of my clients struggled with mental illness and/or adapting to life's stressors.  I believe mental health wellness is possible for all with support.
